TRIP TO ZOO

Educational tours give the students opportunities to visit prestigious places that may help them to visualize what they are learning at school. Moreover such trips can serve a variety of purposes to help students to acquire more knowledge by exploring new things or to see familiar things in new ways, through actual exposure to the different places.
On 7th Feb. 2017 the Kindergarteners (Boys) of Junior Boys Wing, PISR had observed a visit to the zoo for Annual activity.
A total of 111 members of them 100 kids, 10 teachers & 1 maid were involved in this trip.
And on 9th Feb. 2017 the Kindergarteners (Girls) went to the zoo. A total of 80 members of them 72 kids, 7 teachers & 1 maid were involved in this trip.
The main objective for this trip was to accomplish an activity mentioned in the syllabus and giving the children a chance to see animals they may never encounter on their own. The students learned a lot about Wild life, different animal species, their habitats and behavior.
This type of thematic unit was really a great source of knowledge for the children. It adds extra depth to pupils’ learning and experience.
